The introduction of Pay before Release - while entirely justified and necessary to ensure sustainability of our businesses and industry - places a burden on you as SAMBRA members to act responsibly, and provide your insurance partners with speedy and efficient administration to ensure the delays in repaired vehicle deliveries are kept to the absolute minimum.
Please ensure you focus on closing jobs and submitting final costings as a priority to enable Insurers to pay you prior to releasing the completed vehicle.
If you find that getting the client to come in to sign the release form is a problem, we suggest you send the client a photo of the repaired area, together with the release form, and ask them to sign the form remotely with your assurance of your guarantees remaining in place after delivery. This will provide clients with far more assurance than the Insurance release form.
