We’ve heeded your plea for financial relief!
On 20 April 2020 you were informed that Discovery Insure would be providing you with financial assistance to alleviate the impact of the National lockdown.
After discussions with you, our stakeholders, a decision has been made that the reduced discount rate will apply to all claims with outstanding cost updates, including work in progress during the timeframe stipulated (27 March 2020 – 27 June 2020). We believe that this will give you immediate cash flow relief as you prepare to resume your business activities during the phased approach from 1 May 2020.
We want to assure you that we support your business and welcome an open dialogue with everyone in the Discovery Insure family.
Please inform the procurement team immediately, should you be able to obtain a permit to resume business activities at an earlier level of the phased economic approach than expected.
