We are seeking a Qualified Panel Beater/Artisan to join our team in Claremont Cape Town with provable Trade Test Certification and references required. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The position is for an in-person job at Auto Ross Bodyworks in Claremont, Cape Town.
Candidate Requirements:
- South African Citizen.
- 5 Years experience (Post Trade Test)
- Major Structural Repair experience including stripping & assembling
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and understanding of job cards.
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must have their own hand tools
- Must have transport & valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work overtime
- Education – High School Matric
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to carry out major structural & non-structural repairs using various repair methods, equipment & machinery.
- Straightening vehicle chassis, under carriage & body panels. Welding, brazing, cutting, grinding & body filler work.
- The ability to load and use vehicle straightening systems i.e. Car-O-liner, Jig etc
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently without any supervision and should take initiative when so required.
- All jobs are to be done promptly within the stipulated deadlines & of high standard quality
- Maintain a safe & clean workshop environment
- Adhering & respecting the companies health & safety regulations.
