He has extensive experience in the sector having first joined the automotive industry in 1999. Having worked his way up through the ranks to eventually becoming self-employed, Bramiah’s career came full circle in 2018 when he joined the Retail Motor Industry Organisation.

Career Highlights

  • Started in the industry as a qualified spray painter.
  • He later became the workshop manager at a small family-owned business, before being recruited by a large car rental company to manage the company’s in-house MBR shop.
  • Soon after he opened a small MBR business which later amalgamated with TCTS to create a bigger business venture, TCTS Autobody. Bramiah oversaw operations and business strategy.
  • In 2018 he joined RMI as an Associational Representative.

Transformation is high on Bramiah’ s agenda as well as encouraging Industry stakeholders to participate in collaborative negotiations, to strengthen the relationship between themselves and SAMBRA.

“I am confident that Bramiah brings a sound operational knowledge and excellent work ethic to the position and these attributes will stand him in good stead in what is a challenging time in the Motor Body Repair industry. We wish him all the best in his new role,” concludes Green.

Charles Canning, National Chairman for SAMBRA, thanked Richard Green for his immense contribution to the industry over many years and looked forward to continuing the great initiatives that SAMBRA is currently working on, under the custodianship of Uvashen Bramiah.
