Best practices to implement at your workshop to ensure that your employees are healthy and safe during COVID-19.
Body Shop Business’ Jason Stahl suggests some easy to implement tips for keeping staff safe:
- Ask Customers to wait in their vehicles or leave keys in their vehicles to limit possible viral exposure in waiting rooms
- Non-essential vendors could be asked to make contact via online meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams, or simply over the phone
- Designate a designated vendor area for deliveries
- Encourage employees to maintain social distancing at all times
- Suspend group meetings or training sessions, and opt for one-on-one appointments instead
- Disinfect regularly touched surfaces such as door handles, keyboards, floors and phones
- Clean and disinfect vehicles before they are worked on, including wiping steering wheels, seats, dashboards and door handles
