One of the highlights of our Automechanika Frankfurt trip was an important engagement arranged by our Chairman Dev Moodley and facilitated by RMI COO Henk Ferreira with Minister John Steenhuisen.
The meeting represents a significant step forward for the RMI and its constituent associations. The Minister has agreed to engage with the RMI through ongoing meetings to address matters affecting our industry and the challenges facing our members.
Establishing a direct channel of communication with government creates an important platform for the RMI to ensure that the voice of our industry is heard at the highest levels. It also provides an opportunity to engage constructively on issues affecting the sustainability, growth and long-term future of businesses operating under the RMI banner.
These relationships are critical to ensuring that the RMI continues to provide strong, relevant and effective leadership for our industry.
